I bought a cool t-shirt from a record label and it came with an album! "Forever and Never" and "Steeple" display Dexter Fizz's lyrical prowess while he goes into sing-song on "You Like Me I Like You". Shout out to rMell whom has snuck onto my playlist twice this summer! The decision to include a B-side composed entirely of Bugseed's instrumentals makes the cassette version the most optimum listening experience for 'I Died Here'. Dexter Fizz hits the nail on the head (or the coffin in this case).

This project is something I have yet to see or hear from a music artist: a visual EP that touches on heavy themes lightheartedly and is crafted intricately in every medium it is presented in. The production is sparse, the lyrics are not only easy to digest, but leave a lasting impression compliments of Jowin's pure delivery. Jowin is an artist's artist and a talented visionary whose pure imagination and dedication to executing his vision makes 'Kids Food for Jane and Jeff' seem ethereal in 2017.
